OMG, when?!
Actually, I was wrong. He did not giggle like a freshman. He giggled like a coed.
Me too - bought the soundtrack!
UGH..
Went to buy it... and the local music store said they couldn't order it.
Ticked me off.
Haven't been back to look for it yet.
I found it some roundabout way (maybe in a used record store after a long time searching). I actually don't know if I still have it, or I could record it for you. I got rid of so much when I moved awhile ago. Ahhh - how 'bout "Blown Away"? I liked that music too.
Blown Away?
Was that the one with Nicole Eggert?
*chuckle*
Don't worry about rec'ing it.
I'll find it once I get back into actively hunting for music again.
;-)
I usually find stuff in strange ways myself.
Somebody left an Enya CD with me and never came back for it.
And somehow I got a Matchbox 20 CD in much the same way.
If they ever want their CD's back, they're here and in pristine condition..
*chuckle*
Love Enya, Enigma, Loreena McKennitt... The Sons of the Pioneers, Marty Robbins, Gordon Lightfoot...
McKennitt.. Mummer's Dance.
*sigh*
(Hopeless romantic at heart)
There are exceptiion to tell these kind of jokes and this is one of them! He might be unfit to command but this was fitting for him!
Thanks
Hi all
I just saw Friday Night Lights --- good movie - very fast-paced, well-acted, exciting story.
But I didn't see myself in it at all and I worked on it a lot. *sniffle
I'll have to watch it again. My friend Cindy said she saw Gabe in a scene, and saw her kids and husband flicker by, but not herself and not me and not Garrett.
The movie is filmed with tight focus on the principle actors in a shallow depth of field, so the background (extras) are all a blur.
At least I got a nice free poster for Gabe's room.
I still recommend it. :)
ABCNEWS POLITICAL DIRECTOR MEMO SPARKS CONTROVERSY: BOTH SIDES NOT 'EQUALLY ACCOUNTABLE'
**Exclusive**
An internal memo written by ABCNEWS Political Director Mark Halperin admonishes ABC staff: During coverage of Democrat Kerry and Republican Bush not to "reflexively and artificially hold both sides 'equally' accountable."
The controversial internal memo obtained by DRUDGE, captures Halperin stating how "Kerry distorts, takes out of context, and mistakes all the time, but these are not central to his efforts to win."
But Halperin claims that Bush is hoping to "win the election by destroying Senator Kerry at least partly through distortions."
"The current Bush attacks on Kerry involve distortions and taking things out of context in a way that goes beyond what Kerry has done," Halperin writes.
Halperin's claim that ABCNEWS will not "reflexively and artificially hold both sides 'equally' accountable" set off sparks in St. Louis where media players gathered to cover the second presidential debate.
Halperin states the responsibilities of the ABCNEWS staff have "become quite grave."
In August, Halperin declared online: "This is now John Kerry's contest to lose."

Halperin Memo Dated Friday October 8, 2004
It goes without saying that the stakes are getting very high for the country and the campaigns - and our responsibilities become quite grave
I do not want to set off (sp?) and endless colloquy that none of us have time for today - nor do I want to stifle one. Please respond if you feel you can advance the discussion.
The New York Times (Nagourney/Stevenson) and Howard Fineman on the web both make the same point today: the current Bush attacks on Kerry involve distortions and taking things out of context in a way that goes beyond what Kerry has done.
Kerry distorts, takes out of context, and mistakes all the time, but these are not central to his efforts to win.
We have a responsibility to hold both sides accountable to the public interest, but that doesn't mean we reflexively and artificially hold both sides "equally" accountable when the facts don't warrant that.
I'm sure many of you have this week felt the stepped up Bush efforts to complain about our coverage. This is all part of their efforts to get away with as much as possible with the stepped up, renewed efforts to win the election by destroying Senator Kerry at least partly through distortions.
It's up to Kerry to defend himself, of course. But as one of the few news organizations with the skill and strength to help voters evaluate what the candidates are saying to serve the public interest. Now is the time for all of us to step up and do that right.
Can you believe I saw her about ten years ago at the U of A? She was in a little room, only about 400 in the crowd. It was an incredible concert. It must have been before she became so well-known.
OK, so I braced myself and turned the tv on and W seems to be doing much better tonight. Except wtf with all the lib loaded questions??? And, I can't take lurch's voice, like nails on chalkboard.
Well, I'll step up and say that to me, the dems and the pubbies are only the different sides of the same coin. For the past forty years, that I've been paying attention to things - NOTHING has got any better for the people of this country...nothing, at all.
More taxes, more regulations, more restrictions, more prohibitions = less liberty, less freedom, less personal choice in our country.
I wonder why I am not experience those things like you are?
I feel safe as citzen and will continue if a man of God is in office who is defending this nation as best as a mortal can.
You can't beat on the Lord sevant and at the same time expect....blessings!
Go get him Geroge! wham wham! woohoo!
George just wacked Kerry with Kerry owns words!
*wincing*
I'd rather redo Basic and AIT at Fort Sill rather than hear Lurch's voice.
He is just SO annoying.
So agitated - can't even type. I even got up the nerve to post on the debate thread. THAT was no "undecided" voter who asked about the environment. That was a VERY HOSTILE environmentalist plant. Believe me, I can recognize them... Lurch of course couldn't answer the question because he has done nothing for the environment - all he did was attack the President. Gee, as per usual.
I saw the twit.
Ithink he's an Earth Firster.
He looked like a semi-cleaned up Earth Firster.
I agree... unfortunately. That's why I've always voted 3rd party - until this election...
Did JFK just say the rich will become poor and the poor will become middle class? A chicken in every pot? A Volvo in every garage? Free health care for the workers?
