Mornin'.
*Grumble* Foffee! I need coffee!
Yes, it WAS a good debate. Cheney = Rottweiler. Edwards = Rottweiler dinner.

Cheney = man. Edwards = girlieman. By the way, whatever happened to the media crowd who spent an entire election campaign crying about Dan Quayle's "lack of experience" and "deer in the headlights" look?

Alien worms and tequila! *L* Very funny. It should be a song .. a movie... a reality TV show!
To: ValerieUSA; sweetliberty; grannie9
With my luck, it already IS a band or a song.
*sigh*
Besides, I have zero musical talent.

Good morning. Finally returning your note about chiropractors and acupuncturists. I can't believe they recommended so many treatments! For some reason, I always thought a person would only have to go a couple of times for relief. But then again, I still picture an acupuncturist as someone in Chinatown (San Francisco) - where you have to go in a dark alley past hanging pigs and mushrooms, into a smoky, opium-filled den...
I thought about you yesterday because a Respiratory Therapist from Univ. Med Center died of a broken heart after her son perished in Iraq. So sad - I had just sent out a condolence card to the family, and then heard that night that she had died. She was only 45. Her husband, also a respiratory therapist, said it had to be a broken heart since there is no medical reason. Everyone at UMC is very upset.

Hi BQ. Well, guess what. I decided even before I read your post that I was not going to have acupuncture...any at all...and told my chiropractor today. I knew she would be resistant to foregoing that part of my therapy, and she was. But, since she is into holistic medicine to a large degree, I just told her that I had to listen to my "inner voice" which was telling me not to do that to my body. That shut her up. LOL
But, not to worry, she made money off me today anyway, as I came home with food supplements, cervical traction device, a pain trigger appliance and a tape.
Lawd have mercy.
To: Conservababe
Hate to say (much as I am into holistic medicine), I'm with you on this one. No needles!!! LOL.
My husband's back has been really bad (just something he was born with apparently) and he has been wearing a brace, pain patches, seeing chiro, regular dr. too, yesterday he got Celebrex... he's been stealing my pain pills too. I think I told you, I've been electro-shocked (Ten's Unit), pt, thera-cane, etc. etc. I've found (FINALLY after two years of major pain) it tolerable as long as I keep up stretches, chiro, massage therapist...

"whatever happened to the media crowd who spent an entire election campaign crying about Dan Quayle's "lack of experience" and "deer in the headlights" look?" They're probably the same ones that were fawning over McAuliffe last night after the debate, as if he had anything relevant to say.
