I know.
And Ranier hasn't BEEN rumbling until recently.
Heard a rumor once that Helens and Ranier share a magma source.

I've (thankfully) never seen any kind of destruction like that. Though
My mom did prevent me from dying in a car fire. I was asleep in the
carseat & I never slept in the car. She was going to leave me, but the
car smelled funny, so she brought me inside. The next time she looked
out the window, the car was in flames. That's close enough, right?

I never caused much excitement, but my brothers...

Growing up, we were very close. We've always kinda thought alike.
It's good to have someone around who understands your sense of
humor & doesn't call you a circus freak or anything.

It was a beautiful thick forest. But it was in the way of the blast.

I was 5 when that happened, to give ya a bit of an idea how long ago that was.
And.. not even supersized marshmallows and chocoalte could've survived that to BE a smores afterwards.

But it was eerily fascinating to see.

Mornin' y'all. Y'all are up bright and early this morning; well, some of you. I have to go to work. What's your excuse? Actually, I probably should have already gone by now, but I worked late on an investigation yesterday. First order of business this morning is delivering some school books to the middle school for a couple of my foster kids.

I got my first affadavit done yesterday, fully expecting it to be ripped apart when I submitted it for review. On the contrary. My supervisor, the head investigator AND our OCC attorney said it was an excellent affadavit, thorough and well-written. I just hope I made the case sufficiently for the judge. It is a legally iffy case, even though there isn't a doubt in anybody's mind who knows these people and this case that removing the kids was the right thing to do. Our lead investigator told me he wished I hadn't had such a difficult case for my first one. So do I, but maybe that will make it a little easier in the future with a cleaner case. Anyway, I'm pretty proud of getting that done. The hearing will probably be on Monday. All hell is gonna break loose when I deliver these court papers to the parents though. Dad is a few sandwiches short of a picnic and has a bad temper (this is the guy that is being accused by some of killing the kid who drowned Labor Day weekend).

Well, I suppose I'd better get going. I don't want to be working too late today to catch the "debate" tonight. I am looking forward to seeing Dubya mop the floor with John F'n's poodle do. What time is it on?

I have to admit I'm curious as to why he's so dark.
Is he Native Indian or something?

Huh!

I'd rather he investigate the gazillion illegals here.

Morning, everyone.
