Keep in mind I weigh between 80 - 84 lbs at any given time.
My lifelong dream is to weigh 90 lbs (what a dream, huh?).
Many models starve themselves to look as thin as I am.
I'm thin enough to be a model, but not tall enough (do you
think anyone would notice if I wore stilts?). Such a pity.

True, but you look healthy. (Maybe heel lifts?)

I wish you were around everytime my seacow of a school
nurse said otherwise. I do wear "tall shoes". They don't make
me much taller. 5'1 1/2" with 3" heels doesn't do much. I'd need
a pair of those fetish boots with ridiculous heels (but then I'd
need an outfit to go with them... hmmmm).

Well, I don't have any such pictures. I do have a pic from another
prom around somewhere. I had left the school & wanted to take a
jab at the principal who had sent the nurse after me in the first place.
So, I made myself look as glamorous as possible. I ended up getting compliments from people who had never given me the time of day
before (I felt vindicated).

Folks, I need some help tonight.
My sister just called me in hysterics. Her husband had just called her from Nigeria where he is on his thirty day rotation on an oil rig. He is second in command.
He told her that all hell was breaking loose. Their company, Noble, informed them that an ultimatum had been given by the Nigerian rebels that they would kill all foreigners starting Friday. The crew has always been under a threat of being taken hostages for ransom, and once the rig was boarded by rebels, a couple of years ago.
But, this is much more serious. Noble ordered the rig to be moved from the delta where they are drilling. But, it is a slow process to move a rig. My BIL told my sister that he would not probably be able to get in touch again because of the move. He also said that they were told that embassies were advised to try to evacuate their people. Shell has already evacuated almost two hundred of their personnel, but Noble has not attempted to do so. My BIL is very scared this time and vowed to never return if he gets out of this alive.
My main concern at this time is for my sister's helplessness to have access to information. She has looked up all the news on the net, but she can't even contact Noble as their machine is on to call back during office hours. I told her to call her congressman and demand contact numbers to our embassy. What else can I do?

Wow, that is fantastic! Thank you for the link. Up in WA, I've gone on bits and pieces of the Pacific Crest Trail, and also a little around Olympic NP. The stretch you hiked sounds very interesting.

The part I hiked is in Olympic N,P,
Up in the NW corner of the State there are few if any roads to or along the coast. It is beach hiking with scrambling around or over headlands and jumping from rock to rock. Have to watch the tides or one can get trapped against a sheer cliff....I didn't have anyone to pick me up at the next access point South, so I hiked 2 days and then went back North...Kind of dumb in a way..Could have broke a leg or something and end up drowned....

There isn't much they can do but try to grab a crewboat and bug out. I am about 10 revolutions behind in knowing anyone there that I could even contact.
