They just don't get much more adorable, and such a sweet talker as to sweep even the most sturdy of southern ladies off their feet.
Hmmmmm ...
Come'on Mike - get it right. We need Mo here.
(Although I will say that my one attempt at networking ended badly for me...I'm back to the one machine, one line.)
I can tell he is a sweetalker and a gentleman, too.
Catpuppy, aren't you worried about Jeanne still going west to the gulf instead of north? Or do you have hurricane fatigue, too?
I networked the two computers here and had no problem. Blind luck or something more sinister?
Thank you, Cb. Having fled both Frances and Ivan, I think that I'll just stay put for this one, especially since those two did nothing to my condo. I did gas up this afternoon just in case and noted that one gas station had none and the other had only two pumps out of 16 in operation.
If all machines have Windoze XP the networking is pretty much automajic. With older versions of Windoze, I think luck has more to do with it than anything.

Babe, catpuppy was spared much damage because he sweet talked those hurricanes

Must have been luck. One was an old 300 MHz Celeron processor with Windows 98; the other a relatively new Pentium 4 with XP. They share a cable modem that is very fast. Downloads are superfast on either machine but, as you might expect, internal checks are painfully slow on the older one.
Hi Pup.. glad to see that you still have your hair...;)
You do, don't you?
I can believe it...
I'm waiting for my daughter and grandbabies to get here, so I can put the steaks on the grill. Can you believe I have to grill a steak for the babies now, also. We used to grill hamburger for them. But, oh nooooo, PaPa had to give them a bite of his steak and that was the end of that. LOL
Which one, gran?
I talked to my daughter last night. She is booking reservations this week for her and Tyler to be here for Christmas. I can't wait. I have so much to do between now and then.
That nice big thick one, Pup. ;)
Good yob with it...the router thingie was what sent my attempt south. But with XP, things might go better for me. I have ZERO complaints about this $499 Fry's machine - none, whatsoever.
All it does is work.
I should have read further...XP got the dsl connection going flawlessly here - and almost, automatically.
You guys all right?
Relatively speaking?
PaPa had to give them a bite of his steak and that was the end of that. LOL

My great nephew got a taste of beef tenderloin at his FIRST birthday party, and you should have seen him gum that stuff...he might never eat a burger.
