Let's FREEP EM big time, this is UNACCEPTABLE!!!

I really wouldn't worry. It had terrible ratings it's premiere week and they're likely to just go down from there...but considering that the show is a retelling of the Kennedy's, it's hardly shocking to me.
I haven't seen the show. What kind of president is he in the flash-forwards? A PC saint? Or something more creative?
It's no secret diary of desmond pfieffer (or was that on UPN??)
Exploiting children for profit is an age old tradition.
Looks like another Kerrorist Cell has emerged at WB...
Just damn.
If you want on the list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...

It's Hollywood. What else can you expect, unfortunately.
The Kerry Edwards buttons are ridiculous.
But what is the deal with the hair? What kid wears his hair like that today? In the movies/TV, why do they (almost)always show little boys with longish hair, covering half their ears? To make them look, what? More 1970's? More girlish? I don't get it it.
I'm sure that Christine Lahti (Jack and Bobby's mother) will soon be complaining about how this administration is wrong in everything it does and alienates everyone it knows...
The democRATS will stoop to any level to regain power. This is why they must be SOUNDLY DEFEATED!
The pro-Kerry stuff seems to reinforce the point of the show. You have this introverted kid who grows up in an ultra-political left wing household with a pot smoking college professor mother, who still somehow manages to become a highly respected Republican Senator, and later a great President, in the 2040's. Since his youth is supposed to be set in the "present", it wouldn't be believable if they didn't have her shilling for the Kerry campaign. By the way, did you catch how unenthusiastic and uninspired the kids supporting the Kerry campaign were? That was definitely NOT an endorsement, and was generally reflective of what I've seen on real college campuses.
Ultimatly I think the writers have done a decent job of keeping the show politically neutral. He grew up in a left wing Democrat household, turned into a respected Republican Senator, and then became the first President to win as an Independent. With the population in the US split about 50/50 between Republicans and Democrats, they seem to be walking a fine line while trying not to alienate anybody. The point where the kid had ten or twelve Kerry/Edwards pins on his shirt was a little questionable, but that's the only hint of bias I've seen in any of the scenes.
By the way, those of you avoiding the show should give it a chance. Despite all the crud piled on top, it's actually not a bad series, and the real storyline is about the relationship between two brothers trying to lead a "normal" life despite the drug habits and impositions of their whacked out commie mother. I was flipping through the channels when I stumbled across the first episode, and I found it to be pretty well written and an interesting view of what many kids nowadays deal with every day.
