This is a link to the new "movie" Vera Drake. It has been showered with international awards. And for what? For its positive portrayal of a British woman who in the 1950's "helps young girls out, when they got no where else to turn". I am so sick of these movies about how bad life was without abortion.
Gee, finally I'll be one of the first to reply to a thread.
Monica Lewinsky should be all these people need to
know about preventing unwanted pregnancy </g>
Yeah those bad old 1950s--women couldn't kill their own children, you could leave your keys in the car, your doors unlocked, didn't need health insurance because the average person could afford even surgery, L.A. was actually a decent place to live in those days. Folks actually had respect for God in those days. To the pro-abort crowd all that pales before the Great Goddess of Suck and Saline.
I absolutely agree! How horrible it must have been before women and men had the authority to murder infants in the womb. Can you imagine the difficulties they faced from this most innocent of all creatures on the earth? (Major Sarcasm) People who abort children are no different than the murderers of WW2. Shame on them if they have ever questioned the inhumanity of man unless they thinking of themselves.
Hey, me and my wife were surprised when we found out my she was pregnant, but we had followed said rules:
1. WE ARE MARRIED.
2. WE ARE IN LOVE
3. WE ARE FINANCIALLY READY.
If you cant do so, dont have unprotected sex. It will probably save you from the clap, herpes, or in the worst case AIDS. DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH!
I have three gorgeous boys who are living proof that condoms, when used correctly and consistently, are not 100% effective. If you have enough sex, eventually the long arm of the law of averages is gonna gitcha.
Abstinence and surgical sterilization, that's as close to 100% efficacy as you can get. Pregnancy should always be the planned outcome of sex, no matter what form of contraception one chooses to employ.
