prayer request for CDHart and husband

My husband has been having chest pains and had an episode of atrial fibrillation in October 2003. He is scheduled for a heart catheterization on Sept. 29. I would appreciate prayer for him to have a successful procedure with no side effects and also for guidance for the medical people who will care for him and for the healing of his heart. Thanks to all of you.

Just wanted to update all of you, as you were so kind to pray for us. My husband had the heart cath yesterday and an emergency double bypass also. He had a 60% blockage in the artery that my RN daughter refers to as the "widow-maker." We saw him about 6:00 p.m. yesterday and his color was good. Just called the hospital this a.m. and they took him off the vent and he only has one IV now.
Thank you all so much for your prayers. If this blockage had not been found, he probably wouldn't have lived much longer, as he would have had a massive heart attack. I thank God that things went so well.
