1. Dan Rather should have known he was in trouble when TV Guide listed the CBS Evening News under "Sitcoms"
2. Dan Rather get pulled over for speeding. After examining Rather's license and registration, the state trooper asked Rather for a second form of ID and independent confirmation.
3. Dan Rather has trouble sleeping due to nightmares involving little green footballs
4. After being fired from CBS, The Onion turned down Dan Rather's job application due to questions of journalistic integrity
Humor BUMP!
Thanks for the chuckle!
CBS announces replacement for Dan Rather. Looking for more respect, they choose Rodney Dangerfield.

And of course:
5. What's the difference between Dan Rather and Santa Clause?
More people believe in Santa Clause.

Dear Andy,
Though I still hold to the authenticity of the Bush documents, and know that the right- wing partisan bullies have had their way with you, I simply cannot violate further standards and imperil the confidentiality of a source. You know that.
I understand the position this story has put you in, and I understand that CBS has a reputation to uphold.
Despite your previous conviction that the source is one holding the most credible credentials, you have been pressured and have been pressuring me to break a confidentiality. I simply cannot do that.
Because of this pressure and because I understand the needs of CBS at this time, I hereby offer my resignation.
Interesting also that search of FR show 3 latest threads are all humor.
Funny also that only reason anyone is tuned to seeBS is to see what delightful line they'll dream up next. It's like watching a kid dream up reasons when the cookie jar is broken.
As Kyron Chetry just said, "All eyes are on seeBS today . . . "
Announcing that Cong. Chris Cox wants an investigation into this.
I am going to wait until Post #47 to say that the signature looks forged.
Indeed. I'm thrilled that Rep. Cox has stepped up to the plate on this. It is very serious business for conventional media to try to throw a presidential election through fraud.
But the funny side is helpful, too, in releasing tension. Personally, I think the "men in pajamas" logo is hilarious and the snobbish allegation itself puts the previous lie in perspective, i.e. the "vast right wing conspiracy".
Either way - by serious inquiry or by humor - the message is hitting the non-aligned public. And that is a very good thing IMHO.
BTTT!!!!!!!
Jokes, Ya mean they're not true?
Thanks for the ping! LOLOL!
HaHaHahahahahahahahaha....
