Well it seemds like some FReepers want me to shut up and NOT post on threads.
They call it spamming.
Well if I didn't post the way I do the dims and media wouldn't notice.
Just ask yourself why did FOX finally run the Steve Pitkin story today?
Why did Rush mention that Edwards never served when he could have last week?
And do me a favor, come directly to me, not the Admin Moderator if you have a complaint.
So I'll shut up and toe the line.

For obvious reasons, I've been tickled by the number of those deployed in Iraq and/or Afghanistan and elsewhere who time their breaks so they can come to the Canteen to try to beat burkaboy to a wOOhOO. ;)

I'm fed up with all the crap that goes on with complaining about the Canteen, too...now that we're complaining. Sheesh. Just don't go there if ya don't like it.

The Canteen serves a wonderful purpose for our troops and their families. I've made GREAT friends with wives of servicemen who've been in Iraq...they felt as if they had NO WHERE TO GO...till they found that thread.

I'm not speaking of the Vietnam or military service-related posts. I'm referring solely to the matter of use of relatively large amounts of bandwidth for simply acknowledging responses for something that is only tangentially related to the purpose of FreeRepublic (there are other posts that are only tangentially related to the purpose of FreeRepublic, but they don't generate the kind of graphics-intensive response to every person that replies to the thread) and the ONLY one I mentioned was the "what's your favorite sweet" thread. Please don't read anything more into it than what was the point at hand raised by Oblongata.
