I don't know that man personally, but as a W&L alum, I can tell you that W&L is just about as conservative as it comes.

Just for illustration, in the student hierarchy, the President of the College Republicans is listed above the President of the Student Body.

Well, I'll put a plug in for W&L. It's a great place, and a fine institution of learning.

Robert Strong has apparently bailed on CBS too!

There are other Robert Strongs who are college professors. One is a poetry professor at the University of Denver. Another is a finance professor at the University of Maine. I think the Denver Robert Strong is too young to have served in Texas. The Maine Robert Strong graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1972, and likely didn't serve in Texas.

Robert Strong is a fairly common name. There are others.
