Kitty Caption LXVI – No Special Theme (Again) – (Humor/Meow Alerts)
7 September 2004 | PetroniDE

Posted on 09/07/2004 3:40:07 AM PDT by PetroniDE

No special theme this week. Combination of Labor Day weekend, post RNC recovery, and watching the news regarding Hurricane Frances, which caused much destruction over Florida (I have some relatives that live there).

Don’t look now, but there is another hurricane churning in the Atlantic (Hurricane Ivan). Projections are early, but this storm may hit the United States sometime the weekend of September 10-12, so those of us in the Gulf States (myself included) need to stay updated on this.

Here are the kitty pictures this week. First two are random selections. Enjoy.

Cat brushing his own teeth, there goes trip to vet.

Cat in a baby carriage. Talk about a “pampered puss”.

The other two cats are random selections from a Houston FR member.

The Houston Chronicle – So biased the scoop, need something else at which to poop.

I read your mind – it says “CAT --- TIME TO FEED CAT”.

I'm good, how are you? I heard you picked up more work. Nice.

Yup. Observatory work every Friday for a couple of hours and probably setting up scopes for the other astronomy classes as they need to use them. It fits better into my schedule. Don't know if I'm going to be able to run the lab this semester. My schedule is pretty heavy.

Livingston wasn't about to share the remote with you, was he. It must be something with the male chromosomes and remote controls...

It makes me giggle to read it, although at the time I wasn't quite so tickled.

NEW BABY PIX!!!!

I just snapped these pics a few minutes ago of Sheba's babies. They're growing like lil weeds. They're at that darling stage where they're trying to play and haven't quite figured out how to make those uncooperative things called "legs" work properly. LOL!
Any-hoo, here are the kids......

Ping for baby pix! I didn't want to load everyone's comments pages down with all the images so take a peek at post #53 to have some smiles.

I'm so glad you pinged me to that!

What sweet little adorable, blue-eyed kitty-faces!

Hi Allegra! Glad the babies could brighten your day!

They're just as sweet as they look. Even though we DEFINITELY didn't need MORE cats, we've fallen head-over-heels in love with the lil darlings.

I say that now.....we'll see how we feel once they're let loose and are running throughout the house. ROTFL!!

*giggle* Roly-poly lil critters, aren't they?

Sheba's milk supply got scarce for several days and I had to feed the kittens formula to help out. Looks like I fed them well. LOL!
I let Sheba have some, too, to help her lactate better. That and Kitten Chow seem to have done the trick as she's producing a lot better now.

I was at my daughter's when what eventually became my kitty gave birth...Her first litter was in her attic..as a stray...Purty got out once, a week before she was to get spayed and had another(My daughter still has a kitty from that litter.., two adults from the first litter"disappeared" a couple of years ago, so we have decided "no more outdoor cats")

I made great friends with Purty and managed to beg for her.I have never had a sweeter companion. She was funny, feisty, took no guff off larger cats but was a real cuddler..I lost her last year to cancer and will always miss her.

My new stray kitty is precious, still young, playful but skittish from her "days in the wild".
