New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
Still round the corner there may wait |
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
With three bedrooms and a garage, I'd think the lack of a basement would be liveable.
Heck, I can't even really use mine for storage, 'cause it's too damp, even though it's a nice finished basement. I'd much ruther have another bedroom!
If I remember right, my house was built the same year. Or maybe a year or so earlier. Early fifties, in any case.
Closing on Oct 29.
I figured that a basement would only collect clutter even if it were finished.
My last house had 3 bedrooms. I had one as an office and used the other for storage and the cat-pan room. Since I've got a garage for the garden tools, I can have a guest bedroom.

Oh...and I want to put on a sunroom. Wonder how much that would cost.
[glug, glug, glug]
Wonder why ranches dating from the 50's put those small windows near the top of the ceiling.
I'd keep an eye on it... if it gets infected, it will get a little pussy and swollen. Cat scratches seem to ~always~ get a little bit infected when I get them.... if it does, there is no harm in peeling the scab off so it can drain and use peroxide or Iodine on it. Dogs have better immune responses and can heal better than cats can. Let him lick on it unless she is making it into a larger sore.
unless HE is making it into a larger sore.... ;~D
WOO HOO indeed!
Has a really nice and private back yard!
My homeless days are coming to an end.
I'm probably making a bigger deal of it than it is, since he doesn't seem to be in much pain. But I feel bad that it happened, just the same!
I'll be keeping an eye on it. Hope it just heals on its own.
How's Cyn? What's Bay think of her?
It's a cute place! You aren't gonna paint the living room white are ya? ;~D
Hehehe....a few of those houses I looked at had riding mower sized yards. I asked the agent if I could take their lawn for a test mow to see if I could mow it in one day.
NO white paint!!!
Cyn's not here yet.... Will be delivered on Sunday. We are gonna be gone all day tomorrow at Dad's, so we wanted to wait to bring her home till we'd be around for the first few days.
Off-white? ;-)
Ohhh...OK! Guess I hadn't caught that!
Oh good! I love color on the walls.
EEKKK!
See y'all in a bit, I am feeling a little nappish.
