Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Pass them by! Pass them by!
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Hope thegirl is feeling better tomorrow. Bless her heart. Having folks poke around your teeth is painful!!
Clare had surgery to open a place for one of her eye teeth to move from up in her gums down into position. She was on Vicodin for a couple of days. She was in pain!

Heh, have just finished a trio of episodes - an FMA, a Full Moon wo Sagashite, and a Samurai7. Such amazingly different animes...
And let me just say, there are a couple places in the latest FMA where I had to just say "Whu.... wow...". Oh, yeah, and when you get to the preview - google the date that comes up...

*yawn* g'mornin'
Been a long time since I wuz the first one up. On muh way to the gym, but I can be a few minutes later today 'cause I got that dentist appointment...so I don't have to rush and I don't get to get the coffee until later...
Rainin' here already and we ain't supposed to get nothin' from Ivan until the weekend. Oh well, at least the ground will already be nice and wet (like it's been anything else since June...)
Major fashion consternation how-so-ever. It's "fall" but it's not "fall." Do I get out the raincoat? Or do I still pretend it's a summer rain and just go with the suit coat? This information is ~not~ provided in the handbook...
Nana is doing a ~bit~ better. Wife said she moved herself in the bed yesterday. And, two of the aides have been fired...the one who left her in sweat drenched clothes and just turned up the air conditioner because she was hot, and the one who opened a packet of vinegar with her teeth and poured it on Nana's greens. Wife said last night that when she got there, the aide dispensing meds went over Nana's whole med routine, they've never done that. Today wife plans to talk with the doctor and get the whole scoop on what to expect. We're thinking it's a replacement to get the right size.
Okay, gotta go...later.

Prayers for Nana and the hip.
Good for the workout dwarf! I was able to transfer Clare and myself to the other Hydrobics class; the one that was full. We had been banished to a different one, and it was awful! Mainly designed for old arthritic folks; no music, no dance, etc. We start the fun class tomorrow!!

How precious! I love the barn on the dresser, my jedis had one of those and I just put it up in the attic a few weeks ago.
