In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Zell ripped FPL a new one tonight at least three different times. He said he wished he could challenge him to a duel. He also called him out on his treatment of Malkin(that young lady). It was priceless!

Morning, y'all!
Hubby and I were howling with glee while we watched Dick Cheney's and Zell Miller's speeches-I loved Cheney's line about "two John Kerrys". Miller has really pole-axed his party-I'll bet he gets a really cool reception next time he's on the senate floor...

The idiot commentators didn't seem to care for VP Cheney's speech.......wonder why? lol
To: WhyisaTexasgirlinPA
No doubt it was just a little too edgy for them-good.

In his post-speech "analysis" of Zell Miller, Peter Jennings uttered the phrase "who is retiring" about 5 times in the first minute, as if that explained away Zell's brutal criticisms of Kerry and the 21st century dimocrat party.

Dick was putting me to sleep, i couldn't even last til he was done. i was worn out from Zell i guess. So many opportunities, so little time. Anytime you're so worn out that Dick puts you to sleep, there is something very wrong. OTOH, Zell must be a real animal.
