Is Michale Savage just another talker who is only concerned with self promotion and enriching himself? He plays both sides of the fence too much and is always contradicting himself. First he was disrespectful to the late President Reagan, now he says Kerry may be better on the war than Bush. Has this man lost his mind? His problem is that he believes in nothing and therefore stands for nothing, but blank statements. I usually get a kick listening to him, but now he is just ranting.
Don't be manipulated.
Not sure this is worthy of a thread. But your first sentence is correct, IMHO.
And put your vanities in Chat or Personal, please.
he was upset about the Imam giving the invocation tonight.
that's savage - when he on, he can be great. when he's off, forget it.
I wish I had something good to say about Mr. Savage, but, I do not. I just can not get past his foreign accent. And I have tried several times to no avail. Nothing against him personally though.
He's horrible. I never believe a word he says, plus he's a big crybaby.
Well, you must admit, he makes valid points 80% of the time. Granted he is a manic, so what? I am balanced enough to filter out the rubbish. My point is that he is starting to sound like O'reilly. Mr. self-promoter. One day he likes Bush, swears that he will never vote for a dem. The next day, he says there is no difference between the two.
It is just a shame because, he probably has the most powerful voice on radio that reaches many. To flip-flop like he is doing is very Kerry-like.
Highly unlikely, HundredPercenter. Most all of these radio talk show hosts are motivated by a sincere devotion to humanity.
I listened to about 3 minutes of his rant tonite. Couldn't take much more than that.
Sometimes he is interesting. Mostly, he is out for himself. Even his 'Paul Revere Society' is a gimmick--send in $$$ and get a t-shirt and coffee cup. The 'society' is just a shop and apparently doesn't 'do' anything.
It's like O'Reilly. One day he wants rummy to resign the next day he is defending the White House on WMD's.
Exactly. What the hell is this Paul Revere Society anyway? His opinions are very powerful and makes very good arguements. However, he has this ridiculous Society thatdoes nothing. My conclusion, he is all talk no action. Sad but true.
he is the best when talking about cultural issues, and is also great at deconstructing exactly who makes up the left - the laaawyers from NYC and Columbia.
Hi. I'm listining to Savage. He's RIGHT about a lot of stuff. I'm FURIOUS about the $%^&%#^&^ raghead iman.
FURIOUS.
I want a REAL Conservative Party.
"Why do you listen to him? He's a manic depressive, who knows how to manipulate his audience."
I had to laugh when he went into a tirade about how much Prozac and anti-depressants in general are ruining society today (he could stand to swallow 100 milagrams of the stuff daily just to calm his nerves down!).
I'm there with you. What in the world is the RNC doing having an imam give a prayer? Why don't we go all the way and just give the islamic fundamentalis wacko their own airline???? Hey, we could also hand out greyhound bus tickets for free to anyone who wants to come into our country. {sarcasm off}
I wouldn't say it does nothing. Savage has gotten a new boat and a couple of new cars since he created it.
IMHO, there is nothing wrong with Savage. I don't always agree with him. But if Dems are allowed to have raging psychos get their message across, why not the ultra-conservatives? I think Savage and others make a valid critique of Bush from another point of view. His war on terror has been too bound by political correctness and niceties. Not wanting to point a finger at Islamic Facism as the enemy.
Savage is not the face we need on conservatism.
