Don't be manipulated.
Well, you must admit, he makes valid points 80% of the time. Granted he is a manic, so what? I am balanced enough to filter out the rubbish. My point is that he is starting to sound like O'reilly. Mr. self-promoter. One day he likes Bush, swears that he will never vote for a dem. The next day, he says there is no difference between the two.
It is just a shame because, he probably has the most powerful voice on radio that reaches many. To flip-flop like he is doing is very Kerry-like.
"Why do you listen to him? He's a manic depressive, who knows how to manipulate his audience."
I had to laugh when he went into a tirade about how much Prozac and anti-depressants in general are ruining society today (he could stand to swallow 100 milagrams of the stuff daily just to calm his nerves down!).
IMHO, there is nothing wrong with Savage. I don't always agree with him. But if Dems are allowed to have raging psychos get their message across, why not the ultra-conservatives? I think Savage and others make a valid critique of Bush from another point of view. His war on terror has been too bound by political correctness and niceties. Not wanting to point a finger at Islamic Facism as the enemy.
