We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not faiL!
Good Morning!!
CAT III HURRICANE FRANCES ADVISORY 14
Discussion:
FRANCES showed no signs of having strengthened last night, nor did the storm make the anticipated turn to the west. Both are still expected within the next 48 hours as southwesterly flow over the top of the hurricane begins to decrease and a HP center builds south of Nova Scotia. Also, forward speed in the 72-120 hour range from VT Forecast will increase vertical shear issues in the eyewall, limiting strengthening to probably the CAT IV level. FRANCES may have been undergoing an eyewall recycle in the last few hours as the center was less distinct in IR photots. NHC guidance has moved the track southward and westward from previous guidance (that is, to the left of previous track). The Bahamas and the Florida Atlantic coast are now the main areas of concern. Current track provides a strike point in Florida near C. Canaveral.
TROPICAL DEPRESSION SEVEN ADVISORY 3
Current Charleston (KCLX) NEXRAD Image:
Discussion: SEVEN continues to show signs of strengthening and has convection nearly wrapping a center of circulation. Tropical storm strength will likely occur by the 11 AM forecast package, though NHC is relying primarily on satellite photos and the Dvorak technique to determine the strength of this system; no recon flights are scheduled into this storm today.
In the news:
What's a candidate for President from Massachuesetts to do when the Chicago Sun-Times--not exactly a member of even the Moderate Conspiracy, let alone the VRWC--indicates that Kerry's medal record on his website is flawed. The Sun-Times points out that Kerry's claim that he received a Silver Star with Combat V is incorrect as the Navy has never issued such an award to anyone.
Indeed the story goes on with a subheader: "Fake claims not uncommon"!
The Sun-Times goes on to say that while Kerry says his military records have been released, the paper has learned from the Naval Personnel Office that there were only about 6 pages of an over 100-page file that have been made public.
All this from the Sun-Times.
OUCH!!!!
You can hear Kerry getting new battle wounds and screaming for another Purple Heart already.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Hi Jim.
is this concert nearby? I have often gone to ticket office 1 hour before performance & someone has an extra ticket to sell. Kid or spouse got sick etc. I think the no scalping law means that they need to be sold at face value. I recall once having someone GIVE me the ticket & another time for Manheim Steamroller, I bought a 78 ticket for 35.
or put ad in paper?
Dont give up if this is something you really want
First official college game of the year tonight! USC-VaTech in just over 7 hours, WOO HOO!
Go VA-Tech!
I just hope IG found a rain hat!
Then she told Tony to go ask Kerry!
HA! Pretty weak defense if you ask me.
I thinnk I will go look at the national weather radar and see where the rainclouds are forming. LOL!
When we were at the fair last weekend, there was a booth giving them away, and I almost got one for IG!!! I didn't know her address and so I let it go. When I saw them, I immediately thought of her! LOL!
Now you have FReepmail :)
I got a call last night from a Columbus staffer telling me to pick up our tickets for the event today. But at this mornings meeting the Bush Campaign Rep from Columbus told me the call was for all Bush volunteers. He promised to get our front row seats to us by Tuesday.
We can take a regular sized still camera, and that is about it. No food ...no drinks.. no umbrellas... no video cameras. Everything has to be checked by the secret Service. We are to be there before one in the afternoon.
So far the record for a Bush event is just over 23,000 people. We expect to break that record this Wednesday.
By the way, Kerry is going on vacation for a week, after he appears at one more campaign event.
Either he is lazy, hiding out, or seriously ill.
Or all three.
Got it thanks....
Freepmail..
WOW!! The humidity is terrible today!!
It is bad...super muggy.
I was out mowing the lawn on the rider and I couldn't take it that.
Nope.
I think your link has been updated.
The tickets sold out in about an hour.
I remember when we were young & foolish, hubby (then boyfriend) & I drove to Milwaukee to see Pink Floyd w/o tickets in hand. We walked around County Stadium twice looking for tickets and by the end of the 2nd time around we had our 2 tickets.:)
It was festival seating so we were able to sit together on the infield.:)
....and just as they broke into "Dark Side Of The Moon", the clouds which had been covering the (full) moon parted and the moon shone down and everyone in the stadium WENT NUTS.:)
"Memories.................."
