Please let me know what your think about Gen. Wesley Clark. It's very rare that you see a person receive such love/hate on both sides of the playing field. Liberals and Conservatives alike seem to always have mixed reviews about him. As someone who had the opportunity to personally speak to him albeit for a brief time I personally like him even if we don't share 100% of the same opinions. Many of my friends and family members were also afforded the opportunity to meet and talk to him in a very personal matter and all share similar feelings of support for the man. So how do the other people at FreeRepublic see Gen. Clark.

"Who was it that said .. follow the money trail with Riady and you'll find where all the secrets are buried?"
I so agree.
Wasn't it the Stephens Group that had an office to which John Huang would go after receiving his top secret briefings? An office that was unknown until what little investigation was done uncovered it?
Why yes, it was!
From this article on an old FR thread:
http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a397e92725ce7.htm
"After the CIA meeting on Indonesian corruption, Huang immediately left the Commerce Department and went to an office owned by Arkansas billionaire Jackson Stephens. At the Stephen's offices, Huang made a very long phone call to his former Indonesian employer -- the Lippo Group."
-End Excerpt-
Now, bill clinton himself put Huang at Commerce where he obtained his top secret clearance and numerous briefings. Then clinton placed him at the DNC for fund raising. This has bothered me for years and the implications seem obvious to me.

A Perfumed Prince is the term I believe the military uses.
>>>Please let me know what your think about Gen. Wesley Clark
Weasel.
He strikes me as an unstable individual with poor judgement and prone to irrationality.
Thanks for ping and highlighting that.
Yes, it's key information, for sure.
Gen Clark is a hero and a true patriot. He is a no-nonsense guy who speaks the truth as he knows it without concern for how his speaking out may affect him personally. Men like that, and they are few and far between these days, tend to bring attacks from both sides...make that all sides. It seems very few truly value honesty any more.
I have spent some time with him. He is a good man and extremely smart, often seeing things before most others see them. Leave it to the Democrats to throw someone like that away. You and your family are lucky to have met him.
Oh, and yes, he is quite short.
And he always seemed a little funny to me, in a governor McGreevey kind of way.
