And when I said "self-centered", I wasn't saying he is any more that way then most politicians.

I have to disagree. I will agree that anyone who aspires to power, whether it be someone from a factory floor who wants to be a supervisor to a campaign worker who aspires to be an elected official, there is a larger amount of ego involved. But Alan's is almost to the point of being vulgar. It's unchecked or if it is, then it's even worse than I can imagine.

I won't disagree that most of his message is better than the one Obama will put forward. I won't disagree that there are many blacks who need not just lead away from nothing but handouts is the solution to their problems. But it will take more than just a cocky self assured man who cloaks his ego in the words of the Declaration, slavery and analogies to the bible to awaken what is necessary for them to come closer to participating in the American way of life.

I think his message goes way beyond his ego.

I have had much personal experience with men, and women in politics and preachers who I believe God has anointed to give a message to His people.

Many of them have an ego, thats part of the motivation to be up front, and to learn to speak like that.

Doesn't mean their message isn't from their heart either.

I absolutely love Alan Keyes, and his message about the Declaration, etc...even if he is an imperfect man.

I am sure he and I would disagree on Bible doctrine.

Tell me, do you have a problem with his message?

Are you pro-life? Just wondering where you are coming from?
