But it will take more than just a cocky self assured man who cloaks his ego in the words of the Declaration, slavery and analogies to the bible

I think his message goes way beyond his ego.

I have had much personal experience with men, and women in politics and preachers who I believe God has anointed to give a message to His people.

Many of them have an ego, thats part of the motivation to be up front, and to learn to speak like that.

Doesn't mean their message isn't from their heart either.

I absolutely love Alan Keyes, and his message about the Declaration, etc...even if he is an imperfect man.

I am sure he and I would disagree on Bible doctrine.

Tell me, do you have a problem with his message?

Are you pro-life? Just wondering where you are coming from?

I am in general pro-life, but to be honest it's not from the fact that I believe it's life from conception. Life means it is sustainable on it's own. I do believe there is a time for abortion (example tubular pregnancy. One thing to remember is that not all tubulars remain there and sometimes migrate to the womb. Wait too long however, and the mother WILL die and there is no assured timetable for that event to happen. So in reality, you could be taking an unborn prior it transferring to the womb.)

Got to be careful. Ego can often be vanity. That is definately not God given, but driven by non Godly actions.
