These are the words of MissAmericanPie I just removed some things that didn't apply and rearranged a few things. Please keep her, her family, and her husbands physician (Dr. B) in prayer!
From MissAmericanPie
My darling David passed away Sunday night; in peace and faith he went to meet his Lord. Please thank everyone, for me, who faithfully prayed for him this past year and a half.
His Doctor B is in shock and grief, as he was very attached to his patient, and David's death was un-expected at this time. Please pray for his Doctor's hurt and loss also, of a friend and patient, he called, "A perfect gentleman".
I'm exhausted, and can't think of what to say, other than to thank everyone that prayed for a cure for David's cancer for this past year and eight months.
Much to the shock and dismay of David's Doctor, who loved him, and the family that adored him, he passed away suddenly. I spent the last hour with him, comforting him and talking about everything I could think of from our honeymoon to vacations, and told him how proud I am to be his wife.
David was a faithful Christian, champion Team Penner, Soft Ball World's Umpire of the Year, much loved and sought after Little League coach, loving father and husband, faithful friend.
He would cook hams, roasts, barbeque briskets, or beef stew, and take them to the teachers lounge at our son's school so the teachers would have a good lunch, he took cup cakes to the local Fire Station, he was known by many and loved by all.
His laugh was contagious and often heard; if he was ever mad at me I never knew it. Everyday for over eighteen years I was told how much I was loved, not a day was missed. He faced his condition with strength, bravery, and no self-pity. He suffered pain in silence. Our loss is heaven's gain, and from the peace on his face, he's with his loved ones there.
I hope this helps you to know my David
the man that is my darling.
Amen,.......Infinite Grace and Mercy,.......In Jesus' Precious Name, Amen!!!

2nd Thessalonians 2:16-17
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
I join with the others here in lifting you and the family and loved ones and this caring doctor up to God for His blessings and peace.
Prayed.
My heart goes out to you. Having lost my beloved wife of 20 yrs. to the same deadly killer I share your tears and reflections of the beauty and wonder our mates brought to us. God blessed us and we will never forget it.

I am so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful man he must have been! What a beautiful tribute you've written to him! God bless and keep you and your family, and his doctor, too. I know there's nothing I can say right now to ease your pain and grief. Please know that I will be praying for you every day, for God to give you strength to bear this pain, and that he will give you joy again.
Thank you for your replies. I am sure MissAmericanPie appreciates all the prayers and heartfelt posts here. I hope she will be able to post, but with all that she is going through...I don't expect it!
Thank you again!!
God Bless you all

Love and prayers my friend.
My heart goes out to you MAP. May God be with you and give you comfort.
What a beautiful, lovely testament your marriage and tribute to your husband was! It is so refreshing in a time when marriages and relationships like this are seldom heard about. Thank you for sharing!!
You, your family, and your husbands doctor will be in the prayers of my family and friends. God Bless You and comfort you!!
I will keep you in my prayers, I hope the family will be okay.
May God sustain you during this time of temporary separation.
Your description of your husband is beautiful. Heaven gained a wondeful angel.
Your statement is very telling, Sister. Yes, he is your darling and will continue to be. For the space of a short time, you cannot be with him, but that does not mean the love is any less.
I cannot ease the pain and loneliness you are feeling, all I can do is point to the future and tell you with all certainty that you will be together again...and this time, there will never be any separation, no loss, no tears, no emptiness. And you will both enjoy eternity with endless youth and vigor.
Carolyn
Prayers.
