Just for clarification, what planet are we on here?

And no, I'm not seeing a host in the sun.

Does that bridge go to the 21st century?

Al Gore's been looking for that.

Third rock from the sun -- like the guy above me said, Utah.

We've got some pretty amazing places on this here planet, don't we?

Rainbow Bridge is just off Lake Powell, a man-made lake in southern "canyonlands" area of Utah, stretching from the Arizona border north. It's got Bryce Canyon & Canyonlands on one side, Monument Valley & the desert of Navajo land on another, and the Grand Canyon south. Beautiful area to look at the stars at night.

I forget the name, but there's an area where the only town within a hour's drive has a population of 5... it's just a building with a kitchen, 3 dining tables, 2 pool tables, 2 gas pumps, a small store, and 3 motel rooms.

Does Jesse Jackson own the bridge?

"WOW!" is right! I have new desktop wallpaper and an even greater appreciation for nature and for man's technology. This really DOES look like an aerial view, rather than a satellite photo.

If the rain levels return to "normal", they will refill the lake and you can drive a boat right under it. Lake Powell is about 100' below full due to the drought of the last 5 years. Today, you'd have a good half mile hike in from the nearest water.
