Washington's Crossing, New Jersey - A pool and furniture sit covered in flood water
Dang! Got a raft, Mo?
Ah ha...are you a camping person, too? Yes, I have learned of plugging the holes with pads, but THEY now recommend those brass or bronze pads now, since mice can't chew through them...supposedly. LOL
hahhahahhahhahaahhahha!! Now I can come escape here when "they" are being mean to me at work :)
Good grief, that is pretty gruesome stuff.
Ahhhh, are they recommending something else now? I think I used the Brillo pads when I lived in a log cabin in Northern California. The mice must be more advanced now :)
Yes, totally a camping, hiking, biking person here!! I don't do much backpacking lately, but I used to.
Looks like NJ got nailed also
- Flooding at a bridge near Lambertville, NJ.
Yep. FR is a great place to let off steam. In fact, this little corner of FR is a great refuge when you get battle worn and frustrated out there on the other threads. It's the place you come after being caught out in the storm to get out of your wet clothes (not a word Swervie), put your feet up in front ot the fire and have a cup of hot chocolate (or a stiff drink....whichever you prefer.
Great pictures from the picnic
Well, you have to leave home sometime.
Sounds like your office needs some "protest Warrior" tactics.
Try the placard that has a woman tied to a post with a caption "No war! Protect Islamic property rights now!"
On second thought, they might get it in a couple of days, then you'd REEAALLY be in trouble......
ohhhhhhh - I get it about the corner... I wasn't sure where I was or if it was ok to just babble on here. Thank you for all the mentoring :)
I love camping and hiking too. Don't do nearly as much now as I used to though. I used to backpack too. Haven't done that in a very long time.
We'll get a boat for her......or mebbe some swimfins instead, as she is, after all, a do it yourselfer......
Well, I just love to go camping to sit on my butt...not hiking or bicycling or backpacking. But wait...I don't sit on my butt much when setting up, taking down, cooking, washing dishes and chasing after the grandkids. LOL
Too funny!
Haven't seen any pictures from there yet .. but I'm guessing it has water problems too
DANG .. I just heard that Edwards was in Phoenixville today campaigning .. I could have gone over to greet him :0)
Why??
Yep, this is the place for babbling. Do too much of it out there on the rest of the forums and you'll get flamed for it. Here it's safe....well, more or less. The taunting here tends to be of a different nature. There are a few frisky menfolk on this thread.
