Doh!
This is as good a place as any to kick back, relax, and basically let your mind wander.
Admittedly, I tend to inspire weirdness.
(Ask grannie9 about that.. or Conservobabe. They can tell the tale of what I inspire, probably better than I can.)
Again, welcome.
Well, I got blamed for "Innocent sweets being corrupted".. and I remember SOMEBODY dragging her into here..
I just don't remember if it was me or not!
She's corrupted?
How comes I missed all this?
Drat!
Nobody dragged me in here, sweetie. I stumbled in here completely under my own power (as far as I know)....out of just plain ol' morbid curiosity.
She's in here, so of COURSE she's supposedly corrupticated.
I just don't remember whoblamed me for it either.
And.. ya didn't notice because it's somewhat normal for this thread..
*hmmm*
I just remember getting blamed for yer 'corruptification' by somebody.
*scratches head*
Not that I noticed any 'corruptification' at all.
Seem pretty normal to me.
I'm sure it had something to do with involving me in some subversive FR pursuit, as if I were an unwilling participant. My sense of adventure sometimes gets me into some "interesting" settings.
Well, I did drag my dear sister in.
And I'm still not sure it was a good idea.
*nudge nudge*
THANK you!
Welcome.
;-)
"My first vote ever was in 1980, of course for Magnus Renaldo.....he brought hope back to the US."
I wasn't old enough to vote then... but I sure remember how he inspired everyone. The end of Communism in the Baltic States (where my parents came from) - beyond incredible and we never thought we'd see the day. Socialist FDR betrayed the Baltics at Yalta.
Honestly, this is the first election I will be voting for a mainstream presidential candidate. I never thought I'd be SO inspired and I do adore George W. He is a moral, honest, and decent man, and he is "whupping" those who should have been taken care of a long time ago.
At this point, the choice is pretty stark. No matter what else, if we don't win this war, we are toast. I like his tax cutting policies as well.........
Yes, I completely agree with you. As someone who lives very close to Mexico, I have border issues for example... But, like you said, the war supercedes everything else. I think he could only take on so much at one time, and he has done an amazing job in such a short time. And, he is such a breath of fresh air after eight years of you-know-what.
8 years of low grade movie scripts (I'm being kind, don't get me started....new tone and all that), and almost half of the American public is still continuosly duped by a totally corrupted Democrat party.
What kind of guy has a picture of Sean Penn on his office.......*Gagging*
BTW .. I was over at my sisters . her son rec'd a signed picture of Kerry and Edwards (the donation pic they give out)
Wellllll ... they spelled his name wrong ... and of course I had to make a comment that Kerry was such a Goober .. hehehe
And your own mother says that she wishes she would have never told you about FreeRepublic. LOL
That is so frightening about half the public - and so true. Even my little sister is duped (the rest of my family can't figure out why or how).
Hahhahahhahaa about the Sean Penn! Isn't that sick?!?! The guy is the stereotypical 1960s hippie, went to Berkeley, wants us to sing Kumbaya at team meetings, etc. When the Iraq War first started, he even wrote letters to the local paper supporting the terrorists and calling for their release from Gitmo! It's hard for me to keep silent - especially since he is in the office right next door to mine. I have American flags ALL OVER my office, and I know those must agitate him. He probably wishes he could turn them upside down. I also have Pres. Reagan pics all over the place. I'd love to hang an 8 x 10 picture of a conserv actor on my door, but I'm sure I'd be asked to remove it.
Wow! Just heard about the Pennsylvania deluge.
