Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Let them pass! Let them pass!
(Note to dwarves, this is only meant figuratively)
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Hey, get this...we keep geting these notices in the mail saying our water failed inspection! Every few days we get these notices! Are they coming from your town government, or some company trying to sell you water filtering equipment?

Hope you get your meds soon. Go home, have some hot tea and go to bed!! That will help you heal quicker!!Oh, I want to. As soon as I can get a perscription... but who knows when that will be. I'd like nothing better than to lie around watching anime, drinking something soothing...
Maybe I'll do that tomorrow.

Have you tried getting one of those 'under the sink' water filtration systems? We have one at our kitchen sink, and use that water for cooking and drinking water. It involved cutting a hole in the stainless steel sink area by the faucet, but it wasn't very expensive, and we only change the filter out once a year, or maybe a little less. The filters are not that expensive, either. Check it out next time you're at Wal-Mart. I'm sure they have something there. You might think about doing the same thing for the water line going into your washing machine.

We'll see. I really would like it to be delivered, but that may be another one of those things that has to wait till Steve graduates, you know? LOL

I wouldn't mind something like that for our tub and washer...that would be real luxury and likely not in the immediate future.
I'd like spring water to drink.
Gotta think of floride though...no floride in it. I'll speak to 2jedisdentist.

Of course, there are plenty of people in mourning, 'cause they hate to see all the box stores coming in. I guess it's a mixed bag. I'm sure they'll keep complaining until they get used to being able to get what they need with a 10 minute drive rather than a one hour one!

They're open, but apparently not doing throat cultures until 2. Ugh...
The good news is, I think they might give me antibiotics before the results come back, since my sister was in yesterday for the same thing.
Oh, and tonight I start burning cookies...
