Imagine if you had walked up to a rabid Democrat's house trying to talk to them about Bush/Cheney. They'd acted much worse and forget about wishing ~you~ luck! You'd be lucky if they didn't slam the door in your face and run back to report what they'd done on DU!
You displayed perfect grace and your typical charm, but stood your ground. In true GRITS fashion. ;-)
