Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Let them pass! Let them pass!
(Note to dwarves, this is only meant figuratively)
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Wasn't that terrific!? I've watched it couple of times already and laughed my head off.
Thank goodness my office is mostly conservative. Everyone is watching it and laughing at sKerry, esp the Botox part. ;-)

How can marriage papers not go through, or how do Hair and Ecurbh even know that they didn't, for that matter?
Come to think of it, I wonder if mine and Jeanne's went through...'course it's been 30 years.
You're going to Colorado to graduate school? I hear that the state is very pretty.

SSQ and I are fixing to start South Beach. I was pleased to read that he allows fat free milk for coffee. His idea is that you're being asked to give up stuff for the most stringent part of the plan, you shouldn't have to give up your morning coffee as well! Good man! I found some fat free half and half (sounds like a contradiction in terms!) and I'm getting used to Splenda in my coffee, so this should work well!
Now I just have to get up off my fanny and do some exercise!

Yes, sure, fishing isn't always that hard. Half of it is just knowing who caught what where the last few days or whatever.
North Carolina is famous for fishing and boat building, especially on the Outer Banks. Carolina skippers are among the best.

He and his Mom talked about taking the pattern from the comforter and putting it on the wall. LOL!! Just tell em, "Knock yourself out!"
