I'm so glad I got the chance to go out and find this place. If I'm gonna live there for at least a year, I don't want to make a mistake!
Where I'm going is really very safe, but I'm a girl and I worry about these things. At the very least, I'm getting some sort of mace/pepper spray for my keychain.
Yeah, all black would have been VEY depressing!
When I was a teenager, my parents let me have my own color scheme in my room. In fact, they did the changes while I was away once, also! It was royal blue and emerald green. Even the carpet was fleck of royal blue and green! I loved it! The walls stayed off-white, but I was able to paint the bed royal blue, and put royal blue shutters on the windows as 'curtains'.
It is hoped that the weather will cooperate for your vacation. I sure hope it cooperates for ours!

I hope so too, for yours as well as mine. Last year the weather was kinda crappy. But the main thing is getting away for a week.

LOL!! I know what you mean. Our condo is on the 7th floor this year, so if the weather is not the best, I could just sit on the balcony and look out over the Gulf of Mexico!
Ooh, right to work is nice... my sister's got a job as a checkout clerk this summer and they forced her to join the union, or they wouldn't employ her. I think she should have found another job, but... they take almost as much out of her paychecks as FICA does, some weeks!

Heh...I've put the word out too that this is MY vacation. Jr. has been to New York and Brazil. Wife went to Europe. Even Luke went to Tweetsie Railroad.
This is MY time, I'm makin' the rules and they'd better not screw it up!
