The Hobbit Hole XIII - Let them pass! Let them pass!
See our freeper.the-hobbit-hole.net home page! ^

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

...Let them pass! Let them pass!
(Note to dwarves, this is only meant figuratively)

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

I got up at six (boy, was that EVER hard!) and walked uphill on the treadmill for 30 minutes.

I figure the rest of the day should be all downhill from there...nyuck nyuck

Ugh, it's Monday. I had to change my music because it was too gentle and putting me to sleep. I've got the volume louder than I usually need, and it's still not helping...

Oh, my. Boss just walked out the door on a two-day business trip. I didn't know about that... heh...

Well, I like it! But I like my coffee as strong as I can get it!

I like dark coffee. French roast dark. I'm really likin' that stuff Ben brought me. Especially made espresso strength!

Actually I like just about ALL coffee, provided it's strong!

I watched The Butterfly Effect last night, BTW. It was better than I thought it would be. I kinda feel like I should rewatch it knowing the "trick" behind the story.

Kind of a lot of sexuality...and the f word seemed to be the most popular adjective and verb...but still pretty good.

Or should we say "freedom roast"? ;-)

Either way, it's tasty.
