They're having a party...but the I wrote to about it hasn't written back, so I guess I ain't goin'. I didn't find out about the group until yesterday, so I didn't really expect to.

No, and probably never will be. Or they'll want too much supervision. They already demand a lot, it could only get worse.
The unfair thing about taxes on people who send their kids to private school, or homeschool, is that they're paying for the product twice. Everyone who doesn't use the system, like people without kids, is getting a raw deal. But at least they don't pay twice.

Heck, years ago when Steve and I were dating, we went to a barbeque for a group at UT and we didn't know a soul there...just saw a party and stopped! LOL

Whew!!! It's in the mid-80s or so here (thermometer says 90 but that's in the Sun) and I already feel hot. 'course I got the air conditioning off.
Yeah, I know that's true too...but usually in the mornings that shouldn't factor in as much.
I think a lot of it is mental! And I also know I've been "bad" lately. For the most part, it wasn't avoidable without a lotta fuss...I wasn't gonna refuse to eat the dinner Ben's fiance made for us, for example. NOT a good way to impress anyone. ;-)
Heh...this is sad, but with my mentality will probably help: I bought some of those little star stickers to put on the calendar when I actually do 20 min. of exercise or more - walking around town and back, for example. Juvenile...but that's me!
I really gotta go 'fore I get into trouble!!

Oh, and yeah, the gig is on Saturday. Pretty long one, but if all goes right and the lady doesn't welch on the agreement, and Margaret doesn't decide at the last minute to play...I'll get $50 out of the deal!
Of course...I already have things I NEED to use that for...but it'll still be nice to have.

Yeah, I have days where I go through that, too. It seems to have to do more with my mood than anything. I can look in the mirror some days and say, "I look fitter today," then other days I'll look at the same image and say, "I need to exercise more!" I've also noticed I feel better if I look in the mirror right after I exercise versus other times of the day.

I would think of crashing it...but all I have is a gal's name, and she isn't listed in the phone book. Could be anywhere! But I certainly wanna get involved at some point. I just hope my message really did go through. I used a web form that LOOKED like it went through, but I never got a confirmation e-mail, so I wonder.
