EXCELLENT Line in Fahrenheit 9/11

Posted on 07/11/2004 2:43:58 AM PDT by jackmercer

I finally brought myself to watch Farenheit 9/11 and while the entire thing made me wanna puke, there was one AWESOME line by George W. that solidified my support for him.

Michael Moore went up to em and said:

"Governor Bush, Michael Moore"

And Bush replied:

"Behave yourself will ya?"

and then added what in my opinion made the whole movie worth watching:

"Go find some real work" HAHAHA I LOVED IT !!!

Thanks for the welcome. I went over to democraticunderground.com to point out to those psychos that this was the most important line in the movie and tried to tie it in with welfare reform, the importance of work, the liberating effect of hard work in a capitalist system.....alas, I was banned permanently from posting in no less than 2 minutes.

Liberals arent fans of real work I guess...just bashing other's work :(

The record here is 28 seconds - as usual, the DUmmies are second-raters.

No matter how many "good" lines there are in the movie,I wouldn't give the liar M.M. a penny of my money or the satisfaction of knowing that another person watched his sick propaganda.

You don't want people to support his lies by seeing the movie,do you?

Well, he didnt get my money either....while some internet technologies are exploited for free access to some entertainment (which I think is well...kind of wrong), when something like a moore movie comes along, I think they are necessary. That is all I will say about that :)

Good to know he didn't get your money.

I "am" a firm believer in "know your enemy" but I guess I've heard enough of M.M.'s lies already, that I don't need to waste my time by hearing any more.

(which I think is well...kind of wrong),

About a week ago my son, who reads the Washington Times daily, told me he had seen the movie. I told him I would never speak to him again. He said, "Dad, I watched a bootlegged copy!"

I said, "Okay, what did you think of it?"

He said, "I laughed from the very beginning. It was like a bunch of High School amateurs put it together."

That's my boy!

That is an outstanding assessment of the movie. I was thinking the exact same thing when I was watching it...namely that my two younger brothers (still in high school) could have done a MUCH better job.

Well...off to the recycle bin for that file :)

I love Dubya's bluntness.

I believe he gets that from his mother. :)

Thanks, he is a real movie buff in every sense of the words. He's a bartender by day and night but his passion is the making of movies. I check with him before I go see a movie.

Recently we have seen two independent films - The Fog of War and The Control Room. The Fog of War is a documentary based on an interview with Robert Strange McNamara, and The Control Room is a documentary on AlJezeera during the the first few weeks or months of the war in Iraq.

The Fog of War is a good historical film and, while The Control Room is sort of a hit piece on Rumsfeld and the Bush Administration, it is at least professionally done.

Rage may have clouded my mind while watching it, but I also think President Bush told him to "Get a job"

You don't have to see it in the cinema.

when something like a moore movie comes along, I think they are necessary.

Word is that Moore himself has encouraged people to download his movie (still trying to perpetuate the image of himself as a maverick, anti-authoritarian, anti-capitalist progressive.)

The movie is almost unwatchable. M.M. stands for Mickey Mouse. There is no way that anyone could mistake this screed for a documentary. For one thing, in real documentaries, the narrator makes some attempt to at least sound objective. But Moore's juvenile use of derogatory references to Bush's father as "his daddy," his jeering tone of voice during most of the movie, should make it clear to anyone but the most fanatical Bush-haters that this movie is more about Moore's problems with his own daddy than it is about 9/11 or Bush.

I had thought about writing some kind of pamphlet to distribute to counteract the lies in F9/11. But after seeing as much of it as I could stand to watch, I decided this movie was too lame to harm anyone but the Democrats who praise it.
