NEW YORK If Debra Lafave is convicted of sexual misconduct and lewd exhibition, the middle school teacher will be part of a frightening trend: A report to Congress Wednesday found that one in every 10 school-age kids endures sexual misconduct by a teacher or other school employee.
Lafave is accused of having sex with a 14-year-old student at least five times at her home, at school and in the back of her SUV.
The student identified butterfly and Chinese letter tattoos on Lafave's body for investigators.
The 23-year-old reading specialist at Greco Middle School near Ocala, Fla., turned herself into authorities Monday, accompanied by her attorney.
Here is just another example of society(feminazis and nansy pansies) telling people there is no difference between boys and girls which is a bunch of crap.
I think there is a difference between a 14 year old boy and a 14 year old girl and how they look at life.
If this teacher "wanted' me at age 14 I would of thought I died and gone to heaven. It would have not tarnished my view of women at all later in life. Boys/men think different about sex and that will never change.
I remember how much I was a horny dog at that age was actively trying to get some at that age (to no avail though-sigh).
I don't condone what happened but I don't think this kid will be hampered through life.

Sure all young boys have urges and I'm sure it will come as a surprise to some that so do young girls (I was one a hundred years ago) BUT we girls are taught that we should remain virtuous (at least a hundred years ago they did) but boys can hump anything they want so they can be a "man". Males reach their sexual maturity at 18 - not 14. Females reach it at about 30. Until males get a brain that's located above their belt they will hump anything - just like my 6 month old yorkie.

I agree. In a lot of cultures, it's expected that a young man in his teens lose his virginity to an older woman. I knew a guy in college who was from Italy. When he turned 16, his dad took him to one of the finest brothels in Milan so that his first time could be with an experienced woman.
A 14 year-old guy having sex with an attractive older woman is not going to do any damage to the kid.

You are absolutely right. I have a 6 year old daughter. I worry constantly about something like this happening to her. All I can say is, if it ever did, the police better find the guy before I do. Or there won't be a trial by jury for him. God forgive me, but I would be the judge, jury, and executioner.
My hunch is the 14 y/o is the most popular boy in school right now (at least with the other boys). I doubt he is feeling abused.
