And thank the ladies who are out there too. We marvel at their nerve. You'll marvel even more when you hear this little poem (authour unknown) which popped into my head at a particularly opportune time today... I was cranky, my mother was cranky, the cats were cranky... and then I thought of this and couldn't stop giggling.
THE GLOWWORM I wish I was a glowworm,
For a glowworm's never glum.
It's hard to be downhearted

Nice to see you today tonight. I've had some of those cranky days recently.
Did I tell you we have a new puppy? He is a seven week old Yellow Lab. We got him last Friday and we named him Louie/Max.

Thanks, Jacqui, it's nice to receive evidence that someone, at least, is reading my poems.
I haven't written a poem about a glowworm, and truthfully, that one looks hard to beat. Maybe I can come up with something for fireflies. "Lightning bugs" we call them.
