I miss Tyler this time of year. There is a blueberry farm not far from the highway. You pick gallons of blueberries for a few dollars. Sigh. You'll have to drive your wife to Jax maybe sometime next year (Lord willing) so she can help me too. LOL We're 20 minutes from the ocean. You are always welcome here. You can go swimming with the kids while she and I play with the baby.
hehe ! Never been to Florida. Hope to make it there one of these days! Thanks. :^DGot to Dad's before 10:30 and we left shortly after I got there. My aunt fixed some fried Crappie my uncle had caught at Lake Palestine, some baked potatoes and hush puppies, green salad, onions and we had some fresh Better Boy tomatoes my Dad grew in his garden this year, and iced tea. Top that off with a fresh blackberry cobler. Yum ! I asked my aunt if she had a wheel barrow I could use to tote my tummy with after that ! haha ! :^D
We played a couple of games of Chickenfoot after that. (If you're not familiar with that, it a dominoe game played with a set of double 9 dominoes).
Went back to Dad's and I changed a bandage on his back where he'd had a cyst removed last Thursday. I also reset his clock on his answering machine and then headed back home. I just got home about half an hour ago.
It was a very laid-back pleasant Juneteenth.
