So are you trying to troll for a bunch of vicious comments, boycotters and censors? Wrong board, Debbie.
Let Michael Moore speak loud and proud for Liberalism.

1) Hopefully, if no one goes to see this POS the theaters will pull it in short order..........Capitalism and all THAT stuff, ya know.
2) Welcome to FreeRepublic! I'm assuming your righteous indignation has caused you to join. Just a little point though: There is no 'free speech' here. This is a privately owned and run entity.

Michael Moore has manipulated the system and Hollywood has praised him for it. The general populace, however, will not. The movie will break the record for biggest documentary of all time. He will be praised as a genius. This is what Satan wants. The best way to fight him is to pray for him and to pray that his deceit does not convince too many. Speak out to whoever will listen, and express your feelings to whomever you can. But understand that this is all temporary. In truth I pity Michael Moore. He will some day face a judgement that I wouldn't want.

There are a few choice quotes in
this article by Tina Brown that offer a more subtle critique. The over-the-top-ness of F9/11 is even turning some Democrats off:
... "It speaks to how desperate New York Democrats feel that a New York premiere audience filled not just with credulous movie stars but top-of-the-line editors, First Amendment lawyers and sober-suited Wall Street donors was so forgiving of Moore's raucous cartoon history. The blase crowd that usually races out as the credits roll listened in respectful silence as Moore lumbered to the stage in that damn Michigan State University baseball cap and hackneyed leather jacket to pontificate on the importance of getting out the vote.
...
"Hollywood agent and Kerry supporter Tom Baer told me, "Kerry should flee Moore's movie. It's Goebbels all over again." And former Clinton speechwriter Mark Katz put it this way: "I hold my guys to a higher standard," he said quietly. "That's why they're my guys." "

It's considered very bad form to sign up to a forum, make a thread as it's very first post, and not so much as respond once.
But welcome to the Free Republic all the same.

Ya know, I've had a thought for quite some time now and I think it actually would be possible...... Why don't we all ban together and close Hollywood? Think about it. We spread the word to millions of people. We all refuse to spend our hard earned money on anything Hollywood, for atleast a week or 2. No movies, rentals, cable (I'll probably be shot for that one). Let's hit them where it hurts. Any comments on the idea????
