ROFL! Why does he do that? :) Reminds me of the time one of my ex-roommates who had, shall I say, different standards of housekeeping than me, couldn't find anything to use for a drain cover for the shower, so he for some reason decided to use the cap for my salsa jar. . .

Been catching up on chores so far today. You sure finished "Dracula" fast! I'm still just getting to London, as I went to see PoA last night. Of course I've read it before, though. I agree the end was sort of anticlimactic after a great build-up--hence the compulsion for readers to write endless sequels. The Marvel Comics version, my favorite spinoff, picks up with the descendants of Dracula, the Harkers, and the Van Helsings carrying on the fight against Dracula in the 1970s. Dracula returns to London and eventually comes to Boston.

Bahama Mama Sunrise

Ingredients:
1 oz Dark rum
1 oz Spiced rum
4 oz Orange juice
2 oz Pineapple juice
1/2 oz Grenadine
Mixing instructions: Serve over ice in a tall glass
Paper Umbrella optional

I don't gots dark rum, so I'm just gonna use 2 ozs. Captain Morgan Spiced Rum!

But I do have good German wine.

The German whites are my favorites; especially Reisling. Silver Lake winery makes a Rosa Reisling that is just scrumptious! I also love the Hogue Winery Reisling.

I like German wines, too. My parents' favorites, though, are Sauvingon Blancs from New Zealand, and I admit they're pretty good.

It's hard to get nice wine here, since it's only sold through state stores.

Hi folks, this will be my only time here for some days. My main library (local college) is closed Friday - Sunday for summertime, and my next most used library just closed for a month while it moves to a new address. I am at my third favored library.
