Thank you all for coming! And for everyone watching and participating from home via that camera, we hope you can enjoy the day ~almost~ as much as being there!
....well they ought to be.
Starting an instrument is REALLY exciting, and you go a long way in a short time. Then progress slows down a bit as you really get comfortable with the instrument. That's why I've started to learn about four and can't play any of them worth a darn...
But fiddle is an AWESOME instrument to start with, IMO. Hard, but very good for developing a musical ear since you have to find the notes by ear rather than depending on frets or anything like that. Not to mention it's perhaps the most versatile instrument out there, along with guitar and piano - fits any genre.
LOL!
same weather here... been beautiful... been werkin' outside all day the past few days... the same tuhday... 'xceptin we all got dental cleanin's at 1100, and I needs tuh hang a shelf in theboys' room...
Sounds like your day isn't too bad either.
No, I'm happy about this... I worry about stupid things that won't happen. Like, "What if they never got my final transcript", or "What if they forgot I'm coming". Stupid, yes, but I think about them.
guess that's why we're suh mellow... all that red meat we eat...
Mmmmmm....red meat....
Danger! Danger, Will Robinson!
*yawn* I'm here...
It was darn near 2:30 afore I got back home and into bed.
In a very odd sort of way, that's a comforting thought...
Took the wife to see him in Richmond several years ago. I was appalled that the theater was only about 1/3 full.
We also saw Jeff Foxworthy that year - he sold out two shows...
And you're up and rational this morning? Wow. Got enough caffeine into yourself yet?
I'm off to a retirement party. (I was in charge of the gag gift...)
Good morning!!
Hair, did you eat the leftover salmon too?
Oh my goodness, I was telling Steve about those fish and chips last night. They were truly delicious.
I thought it was funny that, barring a few exceptions, we frequently ordered the exact same thing!
There's no such concept as "enough" caffeine...
[shudder]
Right. Got fairly adequate caffeine into you? I'm about to start my second can.
Heh, one apartment I'll be looking at next week is on "Hobbit" Street! I don't think I'll be living there - too close to campus - but I think I'll need to get a photo of me at that corner.
Good morning everyone!
Yes, We had the leftover salmon and crab on crackers... yum!
The nurse just got the Heparin lock in for the IV...
Well, fell asleep last night soon after hitting the couch, so I didn't get to watch very far into our DVD! It was a real cute movie, I like Cohen Brothers style, just couldn't stay awake more than a few minutes, given a pillow. Gonna finish watching it here this morning!
