Missin' ya! The only guy I'd ever sit in a small boat in the middle of Puget Sound with. *laughing*
"It's actually the mice."
They're involved, too. They run their operation from Pluto, because it's a Mickey Mouse planet. . .
Squirrels control the food supply. :)
It's all well documented in "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." The Earth is actually a huge computer designed by a race of creatures on the other side of the galaxy, to solve the formula for "What is the meaning of Life?". The creatures disguised themselves as mice in order to control the computer by directing the actions of Lab Technicians.
Slartibartfast was one of the designers. He did the Fjords, and was most proud of them.
The model almost worked, too, because the Earth project was very, very close to actually solving the problem when it was inadvertantly destroyed to make room for a new cross-galactic expressway.
42.
What is... six... times... nine???
Although these paintings by Sorolla are set in Spain (Espana) and were painted just at the turn of the century, they remind me of modern day Miami. I like them, would love to go to Spain and see 'em.
"The cows are - ahem - responsible for greenhouse gasses."
And for my new ultimate weapon for world conquest: the nitrogen bomb. . .
That's Nuts! ;-)
We thought you'd like that catalog probably too much!
Bulldozer... Yellow...
fjiords are cool!
I been working on the "meaning of life" thing for awhile, didn't figure it out yet, maybe next lifetime, tho.
OTOH, got some of it pretty clear in my brain ;-)
"Nothin' so far as I can tell. Becky has hijacked the TV and is watching Full House."
Nothing on here, either. I'm planning to watch "Spiderman" later.
Well, then. . .what is your favorite color?
White. Or maybe black.
I misspoke... the actual thing was the answer to "Life, the Universe, and Everything". Turns out that yes, the answer is... 42.
It would appear that the question was the problem. The Earth was actually designed not to find the answer, but to find the question. Turns out, unfortunately, that the question for Life, the Universe and Everything, was: "What is six times nine".
But that's when it was destroyed.
Complete text of the section of the Hitchhiker's Guide on the Earth: "Mostly harmless".
Don't Panic.
