Did somebody say "screw"? *cringe*
Gonna have to dust off the ol' beacon-of-restraint graphic soon.

Good morning everybody! :-)
I dragged myself into the office this morning (an hour late, but who cares?). I'm still trying to adjust to the time change. I didn't think it would be that big a deal until I tried waking up this morning.
My mother wasted no time in letting me know how miserable her life has been since she got back on Monday morning. Strange thing is, I just tuned her out completely. Seriously, I saw her mouth moving but didn't hear a thing.
One thing I learned from this trip is that I really do not have to live miserably if I don't want to. It has inspired me to make some serious decisions, so I may be getting out of Miami sooner than originally planned.
I'd rather live in a small room with happiness than a nice house in misery!
Oh yeah, and my job sucks.

That's my philosophy as well!

I hope you don't talk in your sleep at work! I picture ~more~ headlines!

I am so proud of you, sis! I just think the world of you. You're a strong, smart and beautiful conservative woman and I have no concerns that you'll do just fine in anything you want to accomplish.
I've always thought that we make our own happiness (and our own misery)...there is nothing you can't change. Certainly I know that you are constrained by obligations to Glen and to your children, but within those contraints, you can still find happiness.
I know also that we are separated by distance, but I hope you know you can count on me (and likely most of the people in the Hole) for help, prayers and encouragement.
Do it, sis! Go for it! You have my boxfan!
