I MIGHT go see that at the matinee next weekend. Dunno. It'd be a LITTLE bit of a splurge, but on the other hand I hate to have to wait until it's out on video.

I think perhaps tonight I'll write. I've been reading like nuts, and watching a few anime, but haven't written in two weeks.
I really hope the poor 'mater pulls through. The other one is so healthy! I dunno why this particular one is having such a rough time.
I'll probably end up just lying around reading again tonight. It's been so nice since the end of classes, to have lying-around time.
I kinda miss writing...haven't in forever. But I'm coming to the conclusion that I'm just not good at coming up with original ideas, and without that, it's not worth writing.
But I do enjoy the end product of other people's writing! Very much!
Picked up the first Redwall book last night. I'm just curious...they came out after I would have read them as a kid.
Yep, that's more or less what I WANT to do. Either that or have it at someone else's house, so I don't have to play hostess. And clean. A lot.
It's got nothing to do with having ideas - it has to do with finding one idea that hasn't been done too much. Someone says it takes ten years of work, to be a decent writer, so I'm halfway there...
You should try writing something, just for fun! Or, come up with a good idea for November. You can have mine, I've got too many (j/k)

That is a FUN series! I used to read them aloud to Clare and Joseph and do the different accents of the characters, or rather what I perceived the accents to be. The moles seemed to me to have a cockney accent, and the hares have a 'British colonial military' manner of speaking.
Fun, yes, but they got a bit... repetitive after the tenth or so. My brothers still love 'em.
But you still have to come up with original ways of using that idea. I'm just not good at it!
But I may at least do NaNoWriMo, which means I should at least START thinking of a plot idea.
My best ideas come in dreams. I'm incredibly creative in dreams...*sigh*
I'm good at seizing an idea and working the angles. If you ever want to brainstorm, let me know.
I imagine so. USO tours are still a big deal for the guys and gals.
We are checked out of the hotel and hitting the road for the airport... flight leaves a little after 1:00 pm Pacific time. We get in after 10:00 pm Central time. Probably won't get home until near midnight Central time... I'll post a good night when we do!
