Yeah - I think we'll get around to posting a lot more pics, to the Entmoot page and at ecurbh's site, once we have time to go through them! There are tons of pics from many cameras to collect.

Talk to you all when we can, we gotta get out of here or WN is going to beat us back to the beach house!

FYI Beach Driving: dropping your tire pressure down to 18 psi vastly increases performace in the sand by widening the tire's footprint and puts less strain on the transmission.

You were askin' about my mom's car this morning. It's a new Beetle. Bright yellow. With daisy wheels. And daisies hanging from the rearview mirror. I'm in saccharine shock.

Those pictures were from Saturday, yeah! Thanks. I haven't been down much lately but the clothes are fitting much better.

Sigh... and now I hafta take my sister to go apply for jobs, and do errands. I'd much rather reply to your email. Instead let me give you a couple weblinks so you can look at Potter stuff on your own.

http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.com is basically the HP equivalent of TheOneRing. It has links to all sorts of stuff - check out the HP Lexicon to see what happens when people have waaay too much time on their hands.

And http://www.jkrowling.com is JK's personal site. It's lots of fun and she's supposed to hide clues to future books, as well as cool stuff, all over.

Thanks for the kind words regarding our pics. ;) Once we get home I'll be able to do some editing on them to shrink them down a bit for the dial-up folks!

Thank you! My poor li'l modem choked on the bigguns...

That appears to be an advertising site. Is something wrong?

I found it...it's http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.ORG instead of .com.

I spent a bunch of time on JK's site last night...and other than learning that I'd been pronouncing her last name wrong in my head, I didn't find any clues. *snif* I must be denser than most.

But it was a fun site anyway.

OK, I'm not obsessed or anything...but I just went and rented the first two movies. I have cash for the first time in forever, and I only vaguely saw the first a long time ago and I've never seen the second. I'm sure I'll have complaints about characters and scenes now that I've read the books...but ah well. Just the way it is when you make movies. Can't please everyone, and can't (usually) fit a whole book into a movie.

I'd been doing that, too :) It's supposed to be pronounced like "roll-ing" and not like "rowl-ing", right?

Are you in "Goblet of Fire" now, Rosie? I'm still reading that. It's pretty good so far.

I'm watching "'Salem's Lot" Part 2 tonight. They changed some stuff from the book that I wish they'd kept the same, but it's still pretty good. It took a really spooky turn at the end of Part 1. This guy who'd been bitten by a vampire but wasn't dead yet and was still turning into a vampire was in jail. He wanted to attack the guy in the adjacent cell but couldn't reach him, so he tried crawling through the vent. It was too small for a human being, but he was so rabid from the incipient vampirism that he forced himself in anyway, contorting himself and wriggling like a snake, breaking his own bones in the process. The guy in the other cell watched helplessly as this insane guy's head and contorted body came closer and closer through the vent. It was way creepy--shudder!

More Bungling?

Think I'll come up with another word for it. It'll be headlines though.

Do you want to talk about it here or should we wait for the headlines?

Headlines will be Friday...so I'll wait!

If I don't then I might be in the lawsuit, and I'd rather let others get sued.

Good idea :) Just checking in case you needed to vent! Hope between now and Friday goes better for you.
