Wow, inquisitive little Auntie, aren't you? Let's see, where to begin? Grandma is doing great! She now has a life jacket so she can go into the pool without needing a whole lot of people to help her. She is still wearing that awful tube in her throat, but she can eat solid food and she talks to us with a special valve, and she has a whole lot of nurses and other people (like Poppa's Sister) taking good care of her 24/7. She's not in that Nursing Home where she only got seen once or twice an hour. I know she got decent care, but they're just not set up for one-on-one care, you know?

Poppa is doing well. He told us kids not to get him anything for Father's Day, but I think we're going to surprise him. Remember that day we went to the beach with his gold card? Shhhhhh.....

Mail? Do I have mail? I haven't received it yet...the mail man must be slow because of President Reagan's funeral on Friday. I can't believe some people are upset about not getting any mail. Good grief, Charlie Brown, get over it! It's not like those boys and girls in the Service who have to wait, like, for a month before they get packages, right? Poppa says we have to put things in perspective, whatever that means!!!

So, anyway, what am I looking for, Auntie Mojo? Did you send me a pony? Or a whole new wardrobe? Or perhaps a new car? Daddy says I don't need a new car yet, I can't drive. Will you teach me how to drive when I'm old enough? Uncle Tomkow says you're a really good driving instructor!!!

Dear Piper,

I'm glad your grandma is at home being taken care of. It's always better for grandma to be at home with those that love her a lot. Besides, how is she supposed to watch you grow up? I'm glad you'll have the opportunity to see her.

As for Father's Day, I have to be a little sappy about this one. I think your Poppa will agree that you are probably one of the best Father's Day gift he has. You are absolutely priceless. So? Remember that. (Um, if you wanna send the gold card to Auntie MoJo..you can. LOL!)

As for the mail people, I mailed it from the ghetto. What can we say? I'll tell you more about that when you get older.

As for driving lessons, OF COURSE I'LL TEACH YOU HOW TO DRIVE. Why wouldn't I? You get special VIP privileges. So?? We'll go car shopping in the future. How about tomororw? LOL!

*HUGS*
Auntie MoJo

Hi Piper and Poppa!!!

That's so much for the Piper's Peeps. Glad to hear Grandma is doing well.

Piper is looking charming as usual.

Oh Jinx, that's for the Credit Card for Friday's madness.

September

Click

Artist: Earth, Wind, And Fire
Song: September
Lyrics: Lyricsfreaks.com

Do you remember the 21st night of september?
Love was changing the minds of pretenders
While chasing the clouds away

Our hearts were ringing
In the key that our souls were singing.
As we danced in the night,
Remember how the stars stole the night away

Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in september
Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day

My thoughts are with you
Holding hands with your heart to see you
Only blue talk and love,
Remember how we knew love was here to stay

Now december found the love that we shared in september.
Only blue talk and love,
Remember the true love we share today

Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in september
Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day

Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in september
Ba de ya - golden dreams were shiny days

Boy oh boy, Piper, you are getting so big. Has your Daddy or Poppa taken you swimming in Poppa's pool yet? I'll bet they already got you some water wings. And I know you have a really neat ring to sit in. Are you practicing going under water? Doesn't hurt a bit, just be sure to spit the water out. Your Daddy and Poppa ARE teaching you to spit, right??

(You wanna come do my dishes?? He he he!!)

When the MBABGDITW#1 was around 2 and in her "standing on a chair at the sink, pouring water between cups -- doing the dishes" phase, she stepped down from the chair for a minute. During that time, I walked over to the sink to wash my hands.

The MBABGDITW#1 started to cry.

My daughter asked her, "What's wrong?"

MBABGDITW#1: "Gramma's gonna do my dishes!"

Daughter: "You don't yet know your gramma very well, do you?"

(That answer your question? LOL)
