In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
As we all know the 40th President of the United States slipped the surly bonds of earth to touch the face of God Saturday June 5th. So feel free to post your pics, stories, etc. about the Gipper.
Today's word is one of many that could be chosen in his honor.
.
intrepid \ (n-trpd) \ adjective
intrepidity or intrepidness \ nouns
intrepidly \ adverb.
Deinition: Resolutely courageous; fearless.
Etymology [Latin intrepidus : in-, not; trepidus, alarmed.]
My example: President Reagan in all of his intrepidness said "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" A few short years later the Berlin Wall was torn down. This memorable line would have never been uttered if President Reagan had listened to his advisors. His uncommon courage caused great things to happen. This courage was a natural extension of his faith in the American people and the Almighty. And to me that is the Reagan legacy.
and so you remain on guv moonbeam's bandwagon.
LOL!!!!!!!!!
speaking of GORE, xsSIL's sister is a principal of a HS in Carthage, TN, and who do you think gave the commencement address there? none other but the buffoon himself. one of her sister's friends, who had a daughter graduating, protested it the whole way up to the school board, to no avail.
xshub gives me complete and total credit for how xsteen has turned out, snot.

USSjimmycarter...LOL, WHO would want to be on that wimpy ship?
Darling, "Thank you for staying out of my way", is not quite a compliment... ; )
get over Guv Moonbeam, or move to CA so you can marry him....
Story about Father Moonbeam. He's in LA at a Dodger's baseball game. Some vagabond rips off his wallet then hits him (he wasn't injured too badly). Father Moonbeam doesn't want the incident in the LA Times, and it wasn't.
perhaps Clinton's "new navy"? they could paint it pink inside.
Moonbeam is mayor of Oakland now.
Did you know Moonbeam was going into the priesthood before he got his calling for politics?
Maybe he should talk to our Sheriff. All the prisoners' panties are pink.
please do not speak ill of the Tiger's beloved....
Jesuit, right? RME!
During Governor's meetings, Linda would sit cross-legged and read comic books. She was allowed at the meetings. Sorry. The guy was an adam henry.
