Curves are for keeps
May 14, 2004
MEN are more likely to stray if their partners are slim, a survey has found.
Men with skinny wives and girlfriends could be interested in appearance alone - and on the lookout for someone even more attractive.
In contrast, seven in 10 faithful men prefer their women size 16 or over.
The revelations will be little comfort to Victoria Beckham amid claims her husband David had an affair. The former Spice Girl, who captivated the footballer with her curves, has become much thinner since they married.
Nearly half of more than 1200 men questioned in the survey admitted cheating. Most of those had slim partners.
Sixty-four per cent of men with a partner under size 12 confessed to straying compared with 20 per cent of men with partners above size 12.
Seven in 10 of those with slim partners also said their lovers were too worried about appearance to enjoy sex. Eight out of 10 of those dating cuddlier companions said their love lives were "fantastic and uninhibited".

Just my shoulders...........
Nobody can duplicate my Mother's lasagna, which is the best on the planet. Have you ever tried to copy a recipe that starts with "Well, I don't know, I don't measure, I just add stuff until it tastes right." : )
Good point!!!!
That's how I cook - and my lasagna is far superior to my mother's!!!!!!!
I dated an overwight man once who kept himself up... He was --shall I say-- a master of love. ;-)
Speaking of insane mammals, Gwyneth Paltrow named her new baby after my computer!

So that's why he cheated. Well, that did it, I'm going on a diet to gain weight. If I start now I might be up to a size 12 by Christmas. I'm sure by the time I'd grow to a 12, I'd meet some hairy legged ole boy who wants a woman under size 12. LOL
So what does you husband say about fat guys? Do they have sex hormones in their fat, too?
Yea we noticed that, too. Her next kid will probably be named Mac.
I see the article is from Australia. Size 16 there equals what in America?
I don't think I could afford to feed an American size 16.
Holy cow! Nope. I don't think I'm a size 16. OTOH, my skinny little counterpart eats as much as I do... she just seems to burn more efficiently.
Maybe I'm just from the ole carbureted crowd... sigh.
I rest my case. ;^D
Big bones and weight lifting in HS and college, that's my story and I'm sticking to it...
Very clever... However, even though my scale hasn't budged in like a month, just the other day 2 people insisted that I must have lost 5-10 pounds recently. I suppose it's a matter of burning fat and increasing muscle mass. However, may I suggest that you resume the weightlifting? ;)
NO COMMENT....
Maybe just an air pressure change, and remove a round of wedge :o)
Never marry a skinny cook...
Keep in mind, this being an English paper, that their sizes are 4 higher than ours. So an English 16 is an American 12.
You must not have been retaining water at the time. I haven't weighed myself in a long time (I'm too scared to look at the scale these days), but when I used to weigh myself regularly, my weight would fluctuate the same 5-7 pounds over the course of the month. It was all water retention.
I only seem to retain beer.
