Thanks, I'll miss you all and the opportunity to keep up with what's going on. We'll be checking email whenever we find a cybercafe, so when the opportunity arises, I'll drop by the Guild and see what's happening.

Thanks for the ping. That was fun!
This is an absolute MUST for the Kerry photo file:
LOL!

Pride?
Too cheap to have it altered?
When I worked in a boutique I saw women attempt to fit into clothing 4 sizes too small. The owner, being an honest woman, would lead them away from the ill-fitting clothes and find something more suitable, or she'd suggest they be altered if possible. Denise's evening wear should have come with a warning: Beware of exploding seams and other attire malfunctions.
JL, the old homestead gardens sound breathtaking, worthy of a visit from a garden club member or two. :)

Don't you worry Timeout, I saved the SOB Kerry pic. :-)
From John Fund this morning...
It's six months until the election, and Democrats are already having buyer's remorse. The Bush campaign "is kicking Kerry's ass every damn day," one prominent Democratic operative told the Washington Post last week. "Kerry hasn't owned one day in the news yet. Not one day!"
Just a little sunshine to start your day! Lots of errands to do today, I'll make a new thread tomorrow... back soon.

"Senior" personal ads
Some "Senior" personal ads seen in Florida newspapers:
(Who says seniors don't have a sense of humor?)
FOXY LADY: Sexy, fashion-conscious blue-haired beauty, 80's, slim, 5'4"
(used to be 5'6"), searching for sharp-looking, sharp-dressing companion. Matching white shoes and belt a plus.
LONG-TERM COMMITMENT: Recent widow who has just buried fourth husband, and am looking for someone to round out a six-unit plot. Dizziness, fainting, shortness of breath not a problem.
SERENITY NOW: I am into solitude, long walks, sunrises, the ocean, yoga and meditation. If you are the silent type, let's get together, take our hearing aids out and enjoy quiet times.
WINNING SMILE: Active grandmother with original teeth seeking a dedicated flosser to share rare steaks, corn on the cob and caramel candy.
BEATLES OR STONES? I still like to rock, still like to cruise in my Camaro on Saturday nights and still like to play the guitar. If you were a groovy chick, or are now a groovy hen, let's get together and listen to my eight-track tapes.
MEMORIES: I can usually remember Monday through Thursday. If you can remember Friday, Saturday and Sunday, let's put our two heads together.
MINT CONDITION: Male, 1932, high mileage, good condition, some hair, many new parts including hip, knee, cornea, valves. Isn't in running condition, but walks well.

A fairy told a married couple: "For being such an exemplary married couple for 35 years, I will give you each a wish"
"I want to travel around the world with my dearest husband" said the wife.
The fairy moved her magic stick and abracadabra! Two tickets appeared in her hands.
Now it was the husband's turn. He thought for a moment and said: "Well this moment is very romantic, but an opportunity like this only occurs once in a lifetime.
So....I'm sorry my love, but my wish is to have a wife 30 years younger than me". The wife was deeply disappointed but, a wish was a wish.
The fairy made a circle with her magic stick and.......abracadabra!..
Suddenly the husband was 90 years old.
Men might be stupid.... But fairies are....................female!

Grandson has arrived. 6 lbs 12 oz. lots of dark hair. And he looks just like his older brother.
He gave us quite a scare. Born with the cord around his neck. Child/Mom/Dad are doing fine. The power of prayer is a wonderful thing.

IG-Congratulations on the newest bundle of joy to join your family...just in time for Mother's Day.
Lodwick-tell Mrs. L. not to adjust her t.v. color when she watches Oprah on Thursday. Hillary often wears colors that clash!!hee hee
