My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guides
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and I...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

I knew a set of identical twins.
They were nice enough, if you were in a crowd with them.
There WAS a way to tell them apart that dealt with the placement of a birthmark.
On one, it was on the left side of the body.
Just the opposite for teh other.
When they were together, they were VERY alike.
Seperate, they were as different as night and day.
Together, they stuck close to each other.
And they spoke in stereo.

This is Bill and Lucy with Us. Bill was a B-17 Ball Turret Gunner in WWII. They are life long friends of Laura's family. When we set our date we didn't know that it was also their 56th anniversary until they sent the RSVP. We made them our guests of honor and Laura presented the toss bouquet to Lucy. Bill and Lucy met after the war and are a very happy couple. I told Bill that I would have to live to 106 to celebrate 56 years with Laura.

I dated identical twins in high school. I was rying to date one of them but they frequently thought it was funny for the wrong one to go out with me. I thought it was so funny that I quit dating both of them.

Had a set do that to me as well.
They couldn't figure out how I knew they were switching.
I can't explain it, but they had a different mental 'feel' when you were around one or the other.
They decided I was 'such a nice guy' that they voluntarily quit the shenanigens.
But, they floated the idea of 'flex time' dating first.
(Looking back over my life, and seeing some of the more recent relationship woes I've had, I probably should have stuck with the insane twins.)

If the twins had not thought it was so funny, I would have kept dating them for a while. I think they both gained weight had 4 or 5 babies each and live in mobile homes.

The twins I knew, I have no idea where they are now.
Last I knew, they were tormenting some poor guy all with his mother's tacit approval.
