My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Good morning, Lair!
I hope this finds you well. Cold and rainy this morning - a good day to stay inside and sip the morning cuppa joe.
I Thought of You
Sarah Teasdale
I thought of you and how you love this beauty,
And walking up the long beach all alone
I heard the waves breaking in measured thunder
As you and I once heard their monotone.
Around me were the echoing dunes, beyond me
The cold and sparkling silver of the sea --
We two will pass through death and ages lengthen
Before you hear that sound again with me.

Good morning Colonel. Nice little poem this morning.
No sun out yet. A little on the overcast side, however, it's lovely to see many flowers blooming.

Monday's child
Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for their living,
And the child that is born on the sabbath day is bonny, blithe, good and gay.

Good morning Sam.
I really like the little poem this morning. It's a classic I think. Listening to tunes as I type and coffee is great. Thanks as ever to you.

LOL!
As long as the trees don't chase me down as well.
Been landed upon by oine once, don't wish to relive the feat.

Written while offline for 10 days, to a tune:
Would you cry bitter tears if I dreamed about skies, up where the angels are?
And would you die in my arms if I were to fly, up where the clouds are far?
Though I know that I'm not dying, it's you who broke my heart
All along I knew you were lying, but we had to play our parts
The leaves are cold and brown
Petals fell to the ground
The garden's grown cold
It's empty, alone
Remembering you
The roses are blue
If only you'd been the right one
The world wouldn't be quite so hard
If only we'd known how to write it
my heart wouldn't be shattered apart
Remembering you
Alone in my room
Would you think of me and smile with a warmth in your heart, or am I lost in the dark?
Would you say kind things in memory of me, or will you forget all about me?
I wish in my heart you're the right one, but I'm alone in my car
I said all along the light's on, but you said the window's dark
The leaves are cold and brown
Petals fell to the ground
The garden's grown cold
It's empty, alone
Remembering you
The roses are blue
If only you'd been the right one
The world wouldn't be quite so hard
If only we'd known how to write them
my heart wouldn't be shattered apart
Remembering you
Alone in my gloom
It's all I can do
To remember it's you
