My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Welcome to the Lair! You'll find lots of nice people here and even a few poets :) Welcome to Feathers Lair. I'm not one of the poets, I just provide the morning entertainment. :-) Like your tagline. Hope you can turn Australia around.

I believe that there are three types of artists. Those that are tortured, those that appreciate their joy by remembering their torture, and those who are simply filled with joy.
I am a member of the second group.

I'll take number three.
I can feel anger, and anguish, (a little too often these days), but I live in delight, and I get high on oxygen.

I am the second group because I live in absolute joy but I have felt the pain and remember it as part of the journey. Anger, I channel into action of whatever I can do about what made me angry. When all else fails I have strong powers of denial.
