State policies here are abominable, too, in many areas, and the taxes are outrageous and the state's answer to everything is to raise the taxes some more. Then they wonder why this is the poorest state in the country, or at least one of the bottom 2 or 3. 1/3 of the people work for the state, 1/3 live off the state and everybody else makes up the other third. Our state senators are the worst kind of commie RATs who have a stranglehold on everything in the state, including the purse strings and our RINO "Republican" governor. They'd make slaves of all workers if they could find away to do it, and just try calling the office of Blanche Lincoln or Mark Pryor sometime and express any concerns that are not in keeping with the RAT agenda and see how far you get.
Anyway, I've got the site bookmarked and will go back and read some more when I'm not at work. Thanks for the reference, Loddy.

Yes, thats true of the majority of those who still believe they need that group to tell them who to blame for their bad choices. Not true for those who choose to think for themselves.

I would guess that a number of us made some bad choices, and most of those bad choices weren't immediately apparent. One bad choice prompted me to get my first telephone answering machine. I also ended up parking my car a distance from my house at times, and pretending I wasn't home (lights out, no tv & radio going). I had to tell my parents not to give him any info about my whereabouts - he would call them when he couldn't find me!
OUCH!
I've never understood the self-mulilation types.
